When experiencing a no-flow problem, use this guide to perform some quick troubleshooting of the Fleetwatch system.
JB20i Troubleshooting a No-Flow Situation
In the JB20i, the toggle switches are used to bypass the relays to power the solenoid valves directly.
- If you cannot get fuel or fluid to dispense, first put the RIH into manual using the key switch.
- If the RIH is in manual mode and the valves now open, replace the RIH with a spare RIH, and send the RIH back to S&A for repair.
- If the RIH is in manual, but the valves still do not operate, put the RIH back into Auto, then set the toggle switch(es) to bypass mode to see if the valves activate. If the valves do activate now, and they did not activate when RIH was switched to Manual, the relay(s) typically need to be replaced.
- If the valves still do not activate even with the toggle switch in bypass mode, the problem is typically at the dispenser/valve level. Reach out to your local equipment service company or facilities maintenance to look into the valves or dispensers.
