If the green LED on the black box is flashing, the overhead sensor is not detected by the control module in the black box. Most likely causes are bad connection at the overhead sensor, or bad sensor.

In normal operations, the green LED is off unless a vehicle is parked beneath, then the green LED will be on steady. The RIH prompt will go back to the Employee prompt when the vehicle departs the lane.
