What does the green LED on the SRF control box indicate?

understanding the green LED status

In normal operations:

  • the green LED remains unlit until a vehicle is positioned underneath it
  • The green LED will illuminate solidly when a vehicle is properly parked beneath the sensor, with the vehicle's roof directly aligned under it. Please note that the sensor may not operate effectively if the vehicle's windshield is positioned under it.

If the sensor encounters an issue, it may lead to multiple resets of the RIH while fueling a bus. To resolve this, ensure that the vehicle is correctly positioned beneath the sensor. If necessary, adjust the bus's alignment and attempt the fueling process again.

  • If the green LED on the black box is flashing steady with no bus present in the lane, it indicates the control module is unable to detect the overhead sensor. This issue may arise from a poor connection at the overhead sensor or a malfunctioning sensor itself.
