What does "Unable to Log Into Windows Active Directory. Please contact FLEETWATCH" mean?

If you see this message, "Unable to Log Into Windows Active Directory Please contact FLEETWATCH", when attempting to log into Data Tools:

Verify the user's profile information. The usernames may be case-sensitive, so it's important to confirm that the user is entering their username exactly as it appears in the Edit User Rights section.

Ensure the Windows Active Directory box is checked.

Verify the LDAP address and Domain are correctly configured in the System Information settings. To check the connectivity, use command prompt to ping the LDAP address. If the ping test does not return a response, reach out to the IT department of the Transit customer to confirm that the Active Directory server is operational and accepting connections from the on-premise Fleetwatch server.
