How to Service a Vehicle in Select Hose/Select Reel Mode
Follow the Prompt Sequence on the RIH unit:
Prompt: Select Reel Set -> Enter the reel number you want to activate and press Send button. Note: The reel number corresponds to the "Bay/Hose" number for the RIH in the RIH Fluids section of Data Tools
Prompt: Employee Number
Scan your employee badge, or type in your employee number using the keypad and press the Send button.
Prompt: Vehicle Number
Type in the vehicle number and press the Send button
Service the Vehicle
The selected reel, bay, or hose number from the first prompt will be activated, allowing access to any fluids on that reel that are designated for the specified vehicle.
System Reset upon service completion
If no additional fluids are dispensed within 5 minutes, the system will automatically time out and lock the selected reel. This timeout duration can be adjusted through the Master Transaction timer in the RIH Setup. To manually conclude the transaction, simply press the Reset button, enter the reel set number you wish to lock, and then press the Send button. If there are multiple reels currently unlocked, use the keypad to select the specific reel number you want to lock and press Send to confirm.
