Why is my TX55 or TX200 not reading from a distance when using the MR55?

addressing weak TX transceiver signal strength

Before installing a TX on a vehicle, it is essential to check for any metal beneath the fiberglass surface. To do this, use a heavy-duty magnet on the fiberglass wall of the bus. If the magnet adheres to the surface, it indicates the presence of metal, which can absorb RF signals and weaken the signal strength. In such cases, look for an alternative location where the magnet does not stick, ensuring an optimal installation for the TX.

Please be cautious not to bring the magnet into contact with the TX or any other electronic systems on the bus, as magnets can interfere with electronic components and cause malfunctions.
